Mylar Verticals are a beautiful way to dress up any room. With an appearance similar to more expensive draperies, they offer the durability of PVC at a more economical price. Because the vanes hang vertically, only a minimal amount of dust is able to accumulate on their surface, and it is easily removed by wiping with a damp cloth.

Our Mylar Verticals, made from PVC, are room darkening and energy efficient. Adjusting the light in your room is a snap; simply rotate the vanes to the desireded position or draw them open. Stacking options include one way draws or splits that open from the middle. A matching valance may also be ordered that gives the blinds a more finished look.

Color Accuracy Policy:

Although we do our best to make sure the colors on the Island Blinds web site are accurate, actual colors may vary. In addition, subtle color differences and textures may not be fully appreciated on some systems due to differences in monitors and/or display cards because computer monitors are not all calibrated equally and color reproduction on the Internet is not precise. Since it is not possible to guarantee our online blinds and shade colors will look the same on all computers, we do not guarantee that what you see accurately portrays the color of the actual window treatment. Due to the fact that our products are all custom made, and can\'t be returned, you need to be sure that you can live with any color variations that are possible from our scanning of the actual samples. Also, most of our products use Color Coordinated Components. Color Coordinated means similar colors but not necessarily the same exact color. An exact match in color is not always possible for the components of the blind/shade. The color that best coordinates with the product\'s slat/fabric color will be chosen for use on the components. If an exact color match is needed, please call and make an appointment for an in-home estimate and a sales rep will bring the actual samples to your home.

Warranty Information

IslandBlinds Brand™ LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY
Island Blinds warrants that its products are manufactured to the highest professional standards and carefully inspected before shipping. Island Blinds offers a Limited Lifetime Warranty against defects in materials and workmanship.
All Vertical Headrails and Louvers are warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one year after date of purchase, under normal wear and tear by customers.
The limited lifetime warranty extends only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable and does not cover damage caused by improper installation, maintenance or use. Furthermore, PVC Fabrics and cords used in Island Blinds Products may tend to lose their original color or intensity, yellow, fade, crack or wear out when left in direct sunlight or around any radiators/heaters. This limited warranty does not cover claims that any such components are defective as a result of exposure to sunlight. Any defect, malfunction or failure to perform caused by fire, wind, hail, flood, lightning, or pollutants is excluded from this limited warranty.
If any of our products fail to meet this limited warranty. Island Blinds, will repair or replace the defective part(s). Island Blinds will replace the defective part(s) free of charge. You must pay the costs or removal, installation, or reinstallation of the product. Even if we are at fault or make any mistakes while processing your order, we will not pay for air freight charges to remedy the situation.

Island Blinds, Inc. reserves to the right to change, discontinue or alter any of its products, or the parts incorporated into any of its products, at its sole discretion. If any parts or component originally installed in any Island Blinds product is not available within 30 days after original date of receiving merchandise, Island Blinds cannot be held responsible for any discontinued products. Island Blinds cannot be held responsible for Dyelots, Discontinued Products, or any part hereof, if products for any customer are not all ordered at the same concurrent time.

Shipping Fees

UPS or FedEx Ground Shipping:
This applies to all orders under 96 inches in width or length shipping to an address in the contiguous 48 states of the U.S. If it travels by UPS or FedEx then shipping is FREE! Please call us for shipping quotes outside the covered area. Excluding all Plantation Shutters, which incurrs a 0.00 flat shipping fee per manufacturer.

Oversize Products Shipping Fee:
If your package is 96 inches or over in width or length it will be shipped by common carrier (semi truck) from the nearest manufacturing facility to you. There will be a .00 oversize shipping charge for any order with products that are 96 inches or more in width or length. This charge is per manufacturer. Meaning if you order two oversized products and they are from two different manufacturers (two different brands) then there will be TWO charges for a total of 0 shipping. But, if you have more than one product over 96 inches at it is from same manufacturer you will only pay one oversize fee. The fee is per order, not per blind. Excluding all Plantation Shutters, which incurs a 0.00 flat shipping fee per manufacturer.
