2" Doverwood Basics Faux Wood blinds are available in solid colors and stains. The Doverwood has the look of real wood blinds without the cost. They can be used in virtually any room in the house. The 2" Doverwood Basics are our express cut down version of the faux woods. The price is a little better than the custom faux wood and the time to receive them is quicker. They tend to have a plantation shutter look to them and with their individual slats it makes it easy to adjust the light and privacy in a room by rotating the louvers to different angles. Faux wood blinds are perfect in rooms with high humidity or moisture too. Faux woods are not affected by water and can easily be wiped off with a soft cloth. They can be used in garages or play rooms too because of their durability and ease of cleaning.

The Doverwood Basics are a cut down blind so if you put them in the same room as other custom faux wood blinds you will see that the route holes and ladder strings will be closer to the edge of your window opening because they are cut down. They are still a high quality faux wood which will look great in your home.

Color Accuracy Policy:

Although we do our best to make sure the colors on the Island Blinds web site are accurate, actual colors may vary. In addition, subtle color differences and textures may not be fully appreciated on some systems due to differences in monitors and/or display cards because computer monitors are not all calibrated equally and color reproduction on the Internet is not precise. Since it is not possible to guarantee our online blinds and shade colors will look the same on all computers, we do not guarantee that what you see accurately portrays the color of the actual window treatment. Due to the fact that our products are all custom made, and can\'t be returned, you need to be sure that you can live with any color variations that are possible from our scanning of the actual samples. Also, most of our products use Color Coordinated Components. Color Coordinated means similar colors but not necessarily the same exact color. An exact match in color is not always possible for the components of the blind/shade. The color that best coordinates with the product\'s slat/fabric color will be chosen for use on the components. If an exact color match is needed, please call and make an appointment for an in-home estimate and a sales rep will bring the actual samples to your home.

Warranty Information

PRESTIGE HORIZONTAL BLINDS LIFETIME LIMITED WARRANTY

Our Guarantee: Once you are satisfied with your new Prestige Blinds and the way it is installed in your home, Prestige Window Fashions guarantees your blinds will be free from defects due to faulty workmanship or materials for as long as the original purchaser owns the product, provided that the product was installed properly and in accordance with the installation instructions. The warranty is extended to the original purchaser only, in the original windows for which it was intended in residential properties only.

Five Year Warranty: For the period of five years from the date of purchase, Prestige Window Fashions will repair or replace any slat which is defective.

Our Obligation To You: For claims covered by the guarantee, Prestige Window Fashions will replace or repair any product, with like or similar parts, found to be defective as a result of faulty workmanship or materials, and excludes shipping cost, trip charges and labor cost for measuring and installation.

Guarantee Limits: This guarantee dos not apply to any Prestige Blinds or parts thereof which fail due to accident, alterations, improper use, abuse, neglect, normal wear, nor color fading due to sunlight, direct exposure to salt air, failure to follow instructions for measuring, installing or operating the product. Slight warpage and variation in color and grain are normal and not considered defects.

Any defect, malfunction or other failure of the product to conform to this limited guarantee will be remedied by Prestige Window Fashions solely in the manner provided in this guarantee.

THIS LIMITED GUARANTEE DOES NOT COVER, AND IS INTENDED TO EXCLUDE, ANY ALL LIABILITY ON THE PART OF THE COMPANY, WHETHER UNDER THIS LIMITED GUARANTEE OR UNDER ANY GUARANTEE IMPLIED BY LAW, FOR ANY INDIRECT OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES FOR BREACH THEREOF EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY PROVIDED ABOVE IN THIS LIMITED GUARANTEE, THE COMPANY HEREBY NEGATES AND DISCLAIMS ALL EXPRESS GUARANTEES.

Notes: Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitations of incidental or consequential damages, so the foregoing limitation or exclusion regarding such damages may not apply to you. Also, this limited Guarantee gives specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.

Shipping Fees

UPS or FedEx Ground Shipping:
This applies to all orders under 96 inches in width or length shipping to an address in the contiguous 48 states of the U.S. If it travels by UPS or FedEx then shipping is FREE! Please call us for shipping quotes outside the covered area. Excluding all Plantation Shutters, which incurrs a 0.00 flat shipping fee per manufacturer.

Oversize Products Shipping Fee:
If your package is 96 inches or over in width or length it will be shipped by common carrier (semi truck) from the nearest manufacturing facility to you. There will be a .00 oversize shipping charge for any order with products that are 96 inches or more in width or length. This charge is per manufacturer. Meaning if you order two oversized products and they are from two different manufacturers (two different brands) then there will be TWO charges for a total of 0 shipping. But, if you have more than one product over 96 inches at it is from same manufacturer you will only pay one oversize fee. The fee is per order, not per blind. Excluding all Plantation Shutters, which incurs a 0.00 flat shipping fee per manufacturer.
